Messiah

…who fulfilled all prophecies is Jesus

   The following prophecies are prophesied by Israel’s prophets earlier before 500 BC and got recorded in Jewish Scriptures (Old Testament) at least 200 years before Jesus Christ.

Son of God:                                                                                                                       தமிழ்
   "Who has established all the ends of the Earth? What is His name, and what is His son's name?" -Proverbs 30:4.
   "The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son; today I have begotten you’" -Psalm 2:7.
   'The angel said to Mary, "You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God" -Luke 1:31-32.

Descendant of Abraham & David:
   'God our Lord said to Abraham, "All families of the earth shall be blessed in your Offspring" -Genesis 22:18.
   "I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near - a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter will rise out of Israel" -Numbers 24:17.
   "The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and he shall reign as a king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will live in safely. And this is the name by which He will be called: The Lord is our Righteousness" -Jeremiah 23:5-6.
   "Jesus Christ, a descendant of David, who was of Abraham" -Matthew 1:1.
   'The angel said to Mary, "The Lord God will make him a king, as his ancestor David was, and he will be the descendants of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end!" -Luke 1:32-33.

Birth of Savior:
   "But you, Bethlehem Ephrata, who are one of the little clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to rule in Israel, whose origin is from of old, from ancient days" - Micah 5:2.
   "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a Son, and shall name him Immanuel [God with us]" -Isaiah 7:14.
   "For a Child has been born for us, a Son given to us; authority rests upon His shoulder; and He is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" -Isaiah 9:6.
   'While Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to have her baby. She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger' -Luke 2:6-7.
   'The angel said to shepherds, "I am here with good news for you, which will bring great joy to all the people. This very day in David’s town, your Savior was born - Christ the Lord!" -Luke 2:10-11.

Elijah made the way:
   "A voice cries out: 'In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God" - Isaiah 40:3.
   "Lo, I will send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes" -Malachi 4:5.
   'John appeared in the desert, baptizing and preaching. "Turn away from your sins and be baptized," he told the people, "and God will forgive your sins." He announced to the people, "The man who will come after me is much greater than I am. I am not enough even to bend down and untie his sandals. I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit" -Mark 1:4,7-8.
   'Jesus answered, "I tell you that Elijah has already come and people did not recognize him, but treated him just as they pleased." Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist' -Matthew 17:12-13.

Holy Spirit upon Him:
   "The Spirit of the Lord shall rest on him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord" -Isaiah 11:2
   "Here is My Servant whom I uphold, My Chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put My Spirit upon Him; he will bring forth justice to the nations" -Isaiah 42:1.
   'After all the people had been baptized, Jesus also was baptized. While he was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit came down upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, "You are my own dear son. I am please with you" -Luke 3:21-22.
   'John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from heaven and stay on him, and I tell you that he is the Son of God" -John 1:29,32,34.

Light shine in Galilee:
   "There will be no gloom for those who were in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulon and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time he will make glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond Jordan, Galilee of the nations. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light: those who lived in a land of deep darkness - on them light have shined" -Isaiah 9:1-2.
   "When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went away to Galilee. He did not live in Nazareth, but went to live in Capernaum, a town by lake Galilee, in the territory of Zebulon and Naphtali" -Matthew 4:12-16.

Preach the mystery:
   "I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you" -Psalm 32:8.
    "I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark saying from of old" -Psalm 78:2.
   "The Lord your Teacher will not hide himself any more, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it'" - Isaiah 30:20-21.
   'Jesus preached his message to the people, using many parables; he told them as much as they could understand. He would not speak to them without using parables, but when he was alone with his disciples, he would explain everything to them' -Mark 4:33-34.
   'Jesus said to them, "You call me Teacher and Lord -- and you are right, for that is what I am" -John 13:13.

The anointed One:
   "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn" -Isaiah 61:1-2.
   "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the speechless sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert" -Isaiah 35:5-6.
   "But for you who revere my name the Sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings" -Malachi 4:2.
   'Jesus answered, "Go back and tell John what you are hearing and seeing: the blind can see, the lame can walk, those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases are made clean, the deaf hear, the dead are brought back to life, and the Good news is preached to the poor. How happy are those who have no doubts about me!" -Matthew 11:4-6.

Entry into Jerusalem:
   "Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter Jerusalem! Lo, your King comes to you; triumphant and victorious is he, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey" -Zechariah 9:9.
   'Disciples brought the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks over the animal, and Jesus got on. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches in the field and spread them on the road. The people who were in front and those who followed behind began to shout, "Praise God! God bless him who comes in the name of Lord! God bless the coming kingdom of King David, our father! Praise be to God!" Jesus entered Jerusalem, went into the Temple and looked around at everything' -Mark 11:7-11.

Betrayed by friend:
   "Even my bosom friend in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted the heel against me" -Psalm 41:9.
   'While Jesus and the apostles were at the table eating, Jesus said, "I tell you that one of you will betray me - one who is eating with me" -Mark 14:18.
   'Judas came up to Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said, "Judas, is it with a kiss that you betray the Son of Man?" -Luke 22:47-48.

Passion of the Christ:
   "I gave my back to those who struck me, and my cheeks to those who pulled out the beard; I did not hide my face from insult and spitting" -Isaiah 50:6.
   'Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and those who slapped him said, "Prophesy for us, Messiah! Guess who hit you!" -Matthew 26:67.

   "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth" -Isaiah 53:7.
   'Jesus said nothing in response to the accusations of the chief priests and elders. So Pilate said to Jesus, "Don’t you hear all these things they accuse you of?" But Jesus refused to answer a single word. -Matthew 27:12-14.

   "Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed" - Isaiah 53:4-5.
   'Then Pilate took Jesus and had him whipped. The soldiers made a crown out of thorny braches and put it on his head. They took charge of Jesus. He went out, carrying his cross, and came to the place of the skull' -John 19:1-2,16-17.
   "Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross. It is by his wounds that you have been healed" -First Epistle from Peter 2:24.
   "For by the blood of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven. How great is the grace of God!" -Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians 1:7.

   "A company of evildoers encircles me. My hands and my feet have shriveled; I can count all my bones. They divide my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing they cast lots" -Psalm 22:16-18.
   'There they crucified Jesus. After the soldiers had crucified him, they took his clothes and divided them into four parts, one part for each soldier. They also took the robe, which was made of one piece of woven cloth without any seams in it. The soldiers said to one another, "Let’s not tear it; let’s throw dice to see who will get it" -John 19:18,23-24.

   "He poured out himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors. He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors" -Isaiah 53:12.
   'When they came to the place called "The Skull," They crucified Jesus there, and the two criminals, one on his right and the other on his left. Jesus said, "Forgive them, Father! They don’t know what they are doing" -Luke 23:33-34.

   "On that day, says the Lord GOD, I will make the sun go down at noon, and darken the earth in broad daylight" -Amos 8:9.
   'It was about twelve o’clock when the sun stopped shining and darkness covered the whole country until three o’clock; and the curtain hanged in the Temple was torn in two. Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Father! In your hands I commend my spirit!" He said this and died' - Luke 23:44-46.

   "When they look on the one whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn" -Zechariah 12:10.
   'When they came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead, so they did not break his legs. One of the soldiers, however, plunged his spear into Jesus’ side, and at once blood and water poured out' -John 19:33-34.

Resurrection of Jesus:
   "He will swallow up death forever. Then the Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from all faces, and the disgrace of His people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken" -Isaiah 25:8.
   "Jesus, handed over to you according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of those outside the law. But God raised him up, having freed him from death, because it was impossible for him to be held in its power" -Acts of the Apostles 2:23-24.

Ascension of our Lord:
   "God has gone up with a shout. The LORD with the sound of a trumpet" -Psalm 47:5.
   "The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool" -Psalm 110:1.
   "Then Jesus led them out as for as Bethany, and lifting up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven" -Luke 24:50-51.
   'After the Lord Jesus had talked with them, he was taken up to heaven and sat at the right side of the God (the Father)' -Mark 16:19.

Kingdom of Messiah:
   "I saw one like a human being coming with the clouds of heaven. And he came to ancient one (God the Father) and was presented before him. To him was given dominion and glory and kingship, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and his kingship is one that shall never be destroyed" -Daniel 7:13,14.
   "He shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. He shall startle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which had not been told them they shall see, and that which they had not heard they shall contemplate" -Isaiah 52:13,15.
   'As they were watching, Jesus was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight' -Acts of the Apostles 1:9.
   "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever" -Revelation 11:15.
